Why you should always push yourself

I'm the kind of person in life who wants to pursue new things, I always want to try something out before I cross it out completely. I've been kicking myself for months to start Youtube and I'm so glad i did now, the community like the blogging community is amazing. I didn't want to start because I was scared of people's views and opinions, but in life you have to push past this hurdle and learn not to care.

I know its so difficult to step out of your comfort zone sometimes, but its the most rewarding thing ever. You instantly feel so proud of yourself and it brings you new and even better opportunities.

I want to give you a few pointers in order for you to push yourself

- You don't have to dive into the deep end straight away, for example, I hate phone calls, I have extreme phone anxiety and I don't even know why it terrifies me so much. But since going to uni I have had to become more independent and phone places like doctors, house arrangements, jobs. Every time time I have done it, its become easier.

- Don't follow your friends, have your own set of dreams. I didn't go to college because I was scared of not making friends. Instead I stayed on at sixth form and my best friend left a year later anyway. Still sixth form did work for me but I know I would have loved to have focused on a subject specifically like media and TV at college. So always be solo, don't be a sheep, I know it can be hard, but it benefits you in the future.

- Socialise with a range of people,if you are someone who finds it difficult to approach new people, again take baby steps and went your partnered with someone in class really push yourself instead of sitting there reserved, don't let people think your quiet, prove them wrong.

-Try new things, if you want to go into the media industry start a blog, you can even create a tumblr blog, start getting work experience, communicate with other bloggers and its just an amazing community to be part of.

In life you will have to do things you don't want to do and meet people you don't like but hey ho its all a learning curve and you will be FINE. Don't be someone who's too scared to pursue their dreams.
