Faux fur and embroidery?

I haven't posted a fashion post since NOVEMBER, so its more than right that I sort my life out and get back into it. Most of the time I'm posting my outfits on insta instead because lets be honest a mirror selfie is a lot easier than a shoot. However on this very cold morning I decided to put together my newest OOTD for you, faux fur and embroidery, two things I LOVE.
For the last month I have seen tonnes of girls rocking the faux fur coats and all I could think of if I bought one was I would look like Cruella de vil... But I decided I'm all about trying new looks out and venturing outside my comfort zone so I GOT ONE. This one is from Boohoo and it was £40, pretty good for a decent quality coat. For some reason I thought it would be really thick and bulky, but its the complete opposite, definitely not the warmest but perfect if you are going on a night out or want to glam your outfit up. The fur is so SOFT I literally mean its dreamy, so I am very happy with this purchase and you can't go wrong with black what so ever.

I have recently started loving midi coats rather than long length, I just think they are more flattering and show off your outfit, especially in the winter time you don't want to be hiding your style underneath a massive bulky coat, less is more remember....but I get you, I am always cold.

My next new obsession is the colour RED, so recently its been baby pink and don't get me wrong I'm still just as obsessed with that, but now its winter I feel red is super appropriate and on trend, I also feel you compliment the colour more being a brunette. Embroidered clothes have been on trend for the last few months but I've never seen something that I was obsessed with, however found this little gem of a bodysuit on Boohoo for £15 and knew I needed that in my life straight away.

So its this beautiful darkish red bodysuit with an embroidered floral outline round the neck line, JUST LOOK HOW PRETTY IT IS. They also have it in black but as my entire wardrobe is black I thought I must go for a change. I just love how you can dress this up for going out or just being super casual. With the faux fur coat as well this is definitely my new go to outfit.

So I just paired these with my black Topshop joni jeans that might as well be grey now as the definitely aren't black anymore and some sock boots. I did have pictures of my sock boots but you know when they don't fit the theme of these pictures? So not adding them in but will feature them in another post. Hopefully I'll get back to posting fashion once or twice a week again. But in the meantime you can find me over on my instagram, all my links are on my homepage.
