Konjac Sponges- the secret to flawless skin?

It probably feels like I'm bombarding you with collabs at the moment but it just so happens they all got back to me at the same time and I have to work to some sort of deadline. So sorry if these posts annoy you, I try and space them apart as much as possible but some months I get 1 or 2 collabs others like last month I got a few.

With that aside I want to talk about The Konjac Sponge Company today, a brand that specialises in creating high quality sponges that will alter your skin care routine dramatically, if skin care is of high importance to you (which is should be for everyone) then I recommend reading this post.

Konjac very kindly sent me two of their sponges, one from their Christmas range which is the image featured above, JUST LOOK AT HOW CUTE THE PACKAGING IS, and their very popular Red Clay Sponge. The reason I got in contact with this brand is due to other bloggers reviews on how their skin had improved after using these sponges. As you all know I suffer from very sensitive, dry skin and I'm constantly on the look out for products to help me out.

Konjac have a sponge for every skin type so don't panic its not just for dry skin! They have ones for oily and spot prone skin, dry damaged skin, tired and devitalised skin and angry and irritated skin. The brands products feature in well known stores such as Selfridges and Harvey Nichols, so you can get an idea of their target market and the quality of them to appear in stores like those.

                                    The Red Clay Sponge?

I chose the red sponge as it targets skin that is dry and sensitive. At first I didn't think it would work any wonders on my face but I was surprised just how soft and exfoliating the sponge is and I've started to implement it into my daily skin care routine. My skin feels nourished and hydrated after use, which is something I was desperate for. Instead of using loads of 'spot/dry skin' creams that claim they will change the way your skin looks, its best to stick to a sponge and water that has no chemicals in but kills the dead skin cells straight away and doesn't harm your skin in any shape way or form.

To use the sponge is pretty self explanatory you soak it in warm water until soft and then massage onto the skin in circular motions to kill all the dead skin cells. After using this for a week my skin feels ten times softer.

Obviously you can't expect instant results with products as its not always the product that can do all the work for you, other factors may impact on how fast or slow the results kick in, it may mean you need to alter your diet or just simple lifestyle changes. Obviously it hasn't cured my dry skin BUT it is helping a lot and the fact its now a product in my skin care routine proves how much I like it.

If you're interested in purchasing this sponge its £8.99 from

Rudolph Nose sponge?

As this is part of their festive range I'm unsure to whether you can still purchase this one, but it would make such a cute little stocking filler! I'm obsessed with the packaging but you know me I love a brand who know how to package well. This little sponge is for cleansing and exfoliating around the eye area. I love how they have a range of sponges for different skin types and areas of skin. The only sponge I had prior to this was my beauty blender which can get very easily contaminated and dirty, but with these ones they should last up to 3 months.

So I would like to thank The Konjac Sponge Company for sending me out their award winning sponges as they have worked a treat on my skin.
